The International Public Health Forum (IPHF) is an international, rapidly growing, organization, dedicated to the rapidly growing field of public health and preventive medicine. Its goal is to increase health professionals' awareness of public health -specific medicine and of health-related issues in the development domain. Since its foundation in 2004, the IPHF has developed into a worldwide scientific network of public health practitioners and other professionals in the field of public health, preventive medicine, healthcare project management, and social sciences and presents a novel and innovative prospect for global information, experience exchange and education in the field public health and bridging health gaps in low-income settings, especially through the information super-highway.
 Thus, IPHF through its primarily online space aims at sharing the experiences of, and building bridges between, the people and organisations engaged in or supporting International Public Health as a fundamental strategy for healthcare and institutional capacity development and change.
